ON-SITE / REMOTE HANDS
Equinix Los Angeles Remote Hands
Name the IBX and build the visit around your equipment.
FOO.XYZ provides on-site Remote Hands for customer equipment at Equinix facilities in the Los Angeles area. A metro name alone is not enough to book a visit: send the facility identifier (such as LA4, an Equinix IBX data center) and street address. Equinix LA4, for example, is in El Segundo.
Plan a Remote Hands visitVisits by arrangement, subject to authorized access and confirmed availability.
Match the request to the right IBX
Include the cabinet or cage reference, your site contact and the facility access request. Confirm arrival instructions and equipment delivery arrangements with Equinix through your account. We coordinate our work with those requirements rather than assuming an existing badge or unrestricted access.
Prepare a server installation before arrival
Share the rack elevation, compatible rails, weight and power requirements for rack and stack work. Identify management and production ports separately. With the agreed cabling plan, we can mount equipment, connect approved feeds and links, and assist your engineer with initial console checks.
Make replacement work traceable
For a failed drive, power supply or other component, specify the asset identifier and approved replacement procedure. Your team confirms redundancy and whether shutdown is needed. We document the physical change and any unresolved observations; application recovery remains a separate acceptance check.
Coordinate work across sites
Troubleshooting and migrations can involve equipment at more than one address. Give each site its own task list and access approval. Agree who handles transport, who is available remotely and when to stop or roll back. A completed move should include rack positions, port labels and outstanding actions.
Facility reference: Equinix LA4 location. Confirm current entry requirements with your facility contact.
Tell us what needs doing.
Send the address, equipment details, task list and preferred window. Keep passwords and access credentials out of the inquiry. FOO.XYZ is an independent service provider, not affiliated with or endorsed by the facilities named here.
