Turn symptoms into a task list
Tell us which system is affected, when the fault started, what your team has already checked and what must remain running. Identify the rack and asset using your internal references. An unreachable host may involve power, hardware, a network link or software; a site visit starts with evidence rather than an assumed component swap.
Hands and eyes at the rack
We inspect status indicators, trace agreed connections and help your engineer reach a local console or management interface such as IPMI/BMC, iDRAC or iLO. Share the approved steps through your normal secure working process. Keep credentials out of the public inquiry form.
Replace the identified component
Customer-supplied drives, memory, network adapters, HBAs and power supplies must match the affected equipment. Confirm the exact slot, part and serial reference with your administrator before removal. A storage warning requires a recovery plan; replacing the wrong drive can make a recoverable incident worse.
Control disruption and verify recovery
Your administrator authorizes any workload evacuation, shutdown or power cycle. We stop when observations differ from the runbook. After physical work, your engineer checks the host, storage, network and application state. Record the outcome and the handling instructions for removed parts.
Urgent requests across Los Angeles
Call to check availability for Downtown Los Angeles, El Segundo, Burbank or another confirmed facility. Share the business impact and access status. An inquiry does not dispatch a technician, and this service does not promise 24/7 coverage or a fixed response time.
Before booking
Will you reboot a server without approval?
No. Reboots, power cycles and changes to affected systems require explicit customer approval.
Does a hardware replacement include data recovery?
No. Recovery options and the storage plan must be confirmed by your administrator before replacement. Broader recovery work requires separate scoping.
Plan for the equipment location
For work in CoreSite Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley, review the location guide before scoping access and the task list. Use our Data Center Locations directory for the full service area.
Scope the visit.
