Resolve the port map first
Send the device and port references, expected endpoints, media type and approved change window. We work with your engineer to identify the connection before moving it. Labels and link lights help investigation, but neither alone proves that the circuit is the intended one.
Copper and fiber within your authorized space
We can run, patch, trace, label and tidy agreed connections in your rack or cage. Supply compatible cables and the approved patch schedule. Confirm connector types, lengths, routing and equipment restrictions while scoping. Do not disconnect a live circuit until your engineer approves that specific change.
Cross-connect boundaries
At a carrier hotel such as One Wilshire, the facility operator controls its own meet-me-room and cross-connect procedures. Ask the operator for an order reference and confirmed demarcation. We can scope permitted work on your equipment side; this does not include operator provisioning, access to restricted rooms or a promise that a carrier circuit will be delivered.
Checks your engineer can observe
Agree on before-and-after port identification, link state and the remote checks your engineer will run. If a trace differs from the supplied diagram, pause for confirmation. Physical patching does not replace application testing or formal cable certification; specify any additional testing requirement before accepting a scope.
A practical work request
For Downtown Los Angeles, El Segundo or a private server room elsewhere in the service area, include the exact location and access arrangements. A cable task may be small, but it still needs an authorized technical contact, the right materials and a clear stop condition.
