Build a useful installation checklist
For rack and stack or server installation, list the equipment, rail kits, intended rack units and power assignments. We can check customer-supplied parts against the plan and install the equipment. If the equipment or connections differ from the plan, we stop for clarification. Have your engineer available for console and link verification.
Narrow a fault before replacing parts
Troubleshooting starts with the asset, symptoms and recent changes. We can inspect indicators, verify a physical connection and assist with approved console diagnostics. Hardware replacement should identify the spare and the stop conditions, especially when a component shares power or connectivity with other systems.
Document both ends of a migration
A move between cabinets or sites needs separate source and destination inventories. Agree the cable map, data readiness, access windows and rollback cutoff. Physical completion is followed by your team’s service checks; we hand over the final layout and note anything that still needs attention.
